ANDIPA FINE ART GALLERY, WALTON ST, LONDON

One of the few commercial projects Harriet has worked on, the brief for this art gallery in Knightsbridge was to create a space where it's owner, Acoris Andipa, could host clients in several capacities - first and foremost to showcase art on the walls, as well as from their vaulted collection which includes works by Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst, David Hockney, Banksy, Grayson Perry and more. The gallery also hosts events and talks which meant the furniture needed to be easily moveable and their layouts interchangeable. Everything had been sourced from celebrated antique suppliers all over the world and reupholstered restoratively in London, with an emphasis on texture rather than colour, so as not to compete with the art.
