Harriet's own family home in Hammersmith, this project was a complete renovation; with 'before' photographs to show the extent of the works at the bottom of this page. The unusually positioned staircase in the centre of the house was something Harriet wanted to celebrate, making sure the desired layout was structurally possible before buying the house, and to turn it from a 3 bed into a 5 bed house. A great exercise in budgeting, and then reallocating the budget, as structural problems continued to expose themselves and needed prioritising throughout. With the help of her trusted team and suppliers, Harriet furnished the home with furniture and furnishings that she had been collecting and forward planning for years, including the Soane Seaweed Lace fabric that was once a table cloth at her wedding, and now hangs as curtains in her Bedroom!
