This family home in the stunning Dedham Vale area of south Suffolk is a project that has so far spanned 5 years - the clients wanted to work room by room which is a very refreshing and focused way to work. Without doing anything structural initially, most rooms were redecorated only, except for the two bathrooms which were completely redone. More recently in 2023, we completed a Dining Room extension knocked through from the existing Kitchen and Sitting Room which has now been decorated twice, but fortunately all of that furniture has moved into the playroom, so no waste! The house has a cosy character and the clients were very keen to push the boundaries with colour and interest, whilst sticking to elements of traditional design. They wanted to keep the Dining Room quite clean and simple, where we used a bespoke Lewis and Wood colourway for the remote operated blinds.
